To ensure accurate preparation and timely pick-up of your pet’s medications, we ask all clients to follow these guidelines:
1. Standard Refills
Please call 24–48 hours in advance for all routine medication refills.
This allows our veterinary team to review your pet’s medical record, prepare the prescription, and have it ready for pick-up.
2.Medications for a Different Pet During an Appointment
If you would like to pick up medications for another pet while attending an appointment, please call at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time.
This ensures we can have all medications ready for you at once.
3. Large or Bulk Refills (3 or more medications)
Please provide 48–72 hours’ notice for large refill requests to allow adequate preparation time.
4. Same-Day Requests
Same-day refills may not be possible and will be accommodated only if the veterinarian’s schedule and pharmacy inventory allow. A fee of $25 will be applied for all medications that require same-day pick up or do not follow the above guidelines.
Note:
Some prescriptions may require an examination or recheck before refilling, depending on your pet’s medical needs and the medication type.
For controlled substances, additional regulations apply, and we may require in-person pick-up with a photo ID.
Thank you for helping us keep your pet’s care safe, accurate, and efficient.
